New to Church?

Museum Street Church is a place that a lot of people visit during the course of the week with a variety of Church and non- Church activities taking place.

It is important to note that normally the building is accessed via Black Horse Lane where we have a car park.

Visitors to our church often comment on the warmth of the welcome they receive. We would love to welcome you too.

What Happens When I Get There?

At the entrance someone will greet you at the door and offer you a copy of the weekly notices and maybe a song book, although words for all the songs are projected on the screen at the front.

How long are the services?

The Services start at 10.45am and last just over the hour. Services normally consist of singing, Bible readings, prayers and an easy to listen to talk.

If you’d like to know what the talks are like, you can listen to previous ones online before you come!

Please sit wherever you like.

After the service there is a chance for a free coffee or tea, and an opportunity to meet members of the congregation.

Is There Anything For My Children?

The children can join their own group.

Will I Be Asked To Give Money?

There will be a collection, but don’t feel embarrassed to pass the collection plate on without putting anything in it. Many Church members contribute directly through their bank accounts so you won’t be the only one passing it on!

What Should I Wear?

There is no dress code for any of our services, come in whatever you are most comfortable in. We hope this helps to explain what our Church is like. Please do come along, we’d love to see you! If you are still nervous after reading this, please contact us and someone would love to meet you and show you around.

We are a friendly community and often welcome visitor to Church Worship and to other activities. We are always happy to see visitors and you will be made welcome here.
